Have you ever been so excited to do something that you just didn’t? Does that even make sense to anyone but me?
I’ve wanted to document our journey, our farm, our lives – for years. We’ve had one heck of an adventure to even get to this point, and I have no written words to show for it.
So here I am – making the time (and finally having the mental capacity) to make it official : the blog.
I’m hoping this will be a place to put my thoughts to, well, computer… along with recipes, trials and failures, tips and tricks, diy projects, fun family escapades, and the absolute mundane that also contains so much beauty.
With all of that in mind, hello and welcome! I’m Mindy. On the surface, I’m just a southern girl with a charming twang… but, give it a minute, and I’ll blow you away with my cooking and willingness to try most anything.
Here are some fun facts about me : I didn’t like coffee until I was in my mid-30’s, the color red is always repulsive, and my dream is to be a world traveler when I grow up. Until I do, I’ll be over here cooking foods from all over, so I’ll be prepared when the time comes…
